ANA Committees

The mission of ANA Committees is to advance the marketing knowledge of ANA members and provide a forum for peer-to-peer exchange and networking. ANA committees offer members the forum for sharing best practices, the opportunity for peer-to-peer networking / benchmarking, and the ability to learn about new industry developments through the exchange of ideas with guest speakers and fellow committee members. ANA committees also provide a collective “voice” for marketers to advocate on behalf of industry issues. There are 20+ committees in 2017. More at

This Committees Coordinator position would be responsible for: 

Organizing and coordinating ANA committee meetings (everything from sending reminder emails to managing RSVPs to preparing meeting folders to assisting with speaker presentations and management of the AV equipment to setting up and breaking down the actual meetings).
Management of committee records, committee rosters, email lists, committee section of ANA web site, committee calendar. Execute job responsibilities in a timely fashion, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy, especially with all member information and data.

ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards

The annual ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards, distributed at the annual ANA Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference were created 17 years ago to raise awareness and exposure of the outstanding work being done in multicultural advertising. This position would coordinate the planning and execution of the ANA Annual Multicultural Excellence Awards (everything from maintaining list of entries to managing of entree fees to preparing the creative for judging to informing the finalists and sending out the trophies).

ANA Webinars

ANA's complimentary Webinar Wednesday program runs virtually every Wednesday at 1pm ET.  In 2017, ANA will hold 90+ webinars on key topics surrounding the advertising and marketing industry.  Responsibilities include creating new events in database and managing webinar information on ANA website. This position would also be required to fill in for the ANA Webinar brand manager when needed to send out reminder e-mails, train presenters, and execute webinar presentations. More at


This position essentially offers a PhD in marketing, providing the opportunity to learn about the multiple facets of advertising, media, and marketing from some of the best and brightest minds in the business.

  • Candidate must be highly motivated and an organized self-starter who will take the initiative to get the job done.
  • Hands-on, service oriented attitude a must.
  • Strong writing and people skills also are essential.
  • Ability to multitask, handle simultaneous projects, and managing tight deadlines is critical. 
  • Must be comfortable with technology. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.

ANA is headquartered in NYC and this position is based there (sorry, relocation costs are not covered).
