The ANA has an extraordinary opportunity for you to join our Sponsorships & Partner Programs team as Senior Manager supporting both the SVP and VP, Sponsorships & Partner Programs.
This is a sales and sales support role that requires both strategic thinking and attention to detail for executional excellence. You'll be involved in developing and executing sales plans, cultivating strong relationships with both clients and prospects, and contributing to the overall success of ANA's events. We are seeking a results-driven sales professional with both a hunter mentality and attention to detail, as well as a passion for building mutually beneficial partnerships. You will utilize a combination of outreach, strategic presentations, and outstanding customer service to attract and retain sponsors and exhibitors.

Starting pay range: $75,000 to $80,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support ANA’s prospecting/sales funnel strategy.
- Provide “relationship management” support to key ANA partners, being a resource for them to help activate their various assets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to secure sponsorships and exhibitors for ANA's national industry conferences.
- Lead social media activity to both support current sponsors/partners and attract new ones.
- Identify and cultivate new sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities through electronic and written communication, face-to-face meetings, and cold calls.
- Create and maintain sales support materials, including email campaigns, sponsorship sell sheets, and pricing guides.
- Invoice sponsors and exhibitors, track revenue, and contribute to accurate sales forecasting and budgeting.
- Partner with Conference Logistics, Marketing, B2B, Brand & Media, Data Tech, and other internal teams to identify new sales strategies and optimize event impact.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the ANA CRM system and Excel workbooks and provide regular sales progress updates to management.
- Assist with onsite conference setup and fulfillment, ensuring a seamless experience for sponsors and exhibitors.
- Initiate innovative strategies for developing new sponsorship offerings and improving sales processes.
- Delegate administrative and logistical functions to the Sponsorship Coordinator to ensure proper coordination between sponsors and the ANA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3 – 5 years of consultative sales, business development and/or account management experience a must
- Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines is critical.
- Ability to travel within the US (10-15%) with expectation to meet regularly face-to-face with sponsors and prospects in the NYC area.
- Must be hands-on and proactive.
- A customer-service-oriented attitude is a must.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with and relate to all levels both within and outside the organization
