Position Summary
The ANA has an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced detail-oriented digital advertising/marketing professional to join our growing Technology Practice Team in collaboratively tackling some of our industry’s most important challenges as we create the future of marketing together alongside some of the world’s most respected brands. This individual will be responsible for managing much of the day-to-day project management operations and our content strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:

Starting pay range: $60,000 to $65,000 based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Operational Management:
- Manage planning and fulfillment processes ensuring realistic detailed plans are in place to deliver on both our core products and strategic initiative commitments with excellence. Examples include but are not limited to committees, working groups, webinars, reports/playbooks, tools/resources, and industry conferences.
- Support efforts to source and secure speakers, develop relevant topics, and identify suitable event locations, ensuring compelling and engaging programming.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless and high-quality event experiences for our members.
- Hone and manage our overall content strategy. You will be responsible for curating and creating content for use within various channels. (press, social, web, etc.)
- Oversee the production of promotional and marketing materials to promote our events.
- Collaborate with ANA’s Marketing and Communications teams to align strategic messaging and campaign effectiveness to drive attendance at our events and to promote downloads and web/social page views of our content.
- Support the team in the development, editing, and distribution of high-quality content including presentations, reports, playbooks, articles, and resources designed to educate and engage members.
- Work with Web Operations and Social teams to leverage ANA's digital platforms and social media channels to promote and amplify our content for strong visibility and impact, and to help grow our (4) communities.
- Manage a speaker database on relevant topic areas that our team can reference when sourcing speakers for our events.
- Mine data from CRM and CMS systems to produce insightful analytics, performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to support business planning and decision-making.
- Conduct detailed analysis of member feedback assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Foster and maintain productive relationships across the organization to ensure alignment, collaboration, and successful execution of organizational objectives and act as the team liaison with the Conference, Sponsorships, and Marketing Teams.
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in operations, marketing, event management, or related fields
- Excellent communication and project management skills, and proven ability to drive multiple key strategic initiatives under tight timelines.
- Curious, enthusiastic, start-up sense of urgency and entrepreneurial mindset; not afraid to try new things and always looking for new ways to expand your knowledge and experience and to improve the team’s performance with innovative new solutions and process enhancements.
- A relationship builder and a people person. This role requires excellent facilitation and collaboration skills and will provide the candidate with frequent opportunities to work with ANA members as well as with all our internal teams.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong affinity for advertising, marketing technology, and a basic understanding of AI in the context of practical ability to drive efficiency in content creation and operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and proven project management abilities.
- Demonstrated capability in analyzing reports and deriving insights.
- Proficiency in content creation, marketing strategy, and social media management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. (2 – 4 trips per year)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, ChatGPT, Gemini, Zoom, SurveyMonkey, Canva, and other relevant digital tools.
